Bahati: geboren und aufgewachsen in sachsen. verwurzelt in tanzania. hineingeschlittert in die orientierungslose nachwendezeit. ausgezogen zum studium, aber stets begleitet von der musik. angefangen zu komponieren im sechzehnten lebensjahr. musik als geschenk empfangen und angenommen. angekommen nach einem langen weg des zuhörens und ausprobierens. gereist. gelernt. gearbeitet. gewachsen. geduld geübt. texte geschrieben. liegen gelassen. fertig gestellt. bewaffnet mit scharfem verstand und einem gespitzten bleistift. versunken im kreativen chaos des eigenen kosmos. seit sommer 2008 in berlin. zusammenarbeit mit high-q. feature für aamir of escape artists...

MaryInAction began performing her poems in 2003. Since then she's excited her audiences with her direct, funny, spicy, and sweet style of telling a story. Her experience as a dancer, actor, teacher naturally enhance her presence on stage. She's been writing and performing her poems for the past 5 years in Berlin and Hamburg. The poems are in English with an occasional touch of German.
